Story
In this adult VN you play as a young, handsome guy who moves away to college. He shares a room with his best friend Jalen – the classic archetype of almost any VN, your goofy and confused guy friend who can’t seem to get any girl. Similarly, there are lots of female characters you meet throughout your University – some students and, of course, some MILF professors.
In the beginning, you can decide whether you want to pursue a musical program or the sports one, but the plot doesn’t seem to focus on that much. In fact, there is not much of a plot, besides meeting and hanging out with different people. Alongside Jalen, you will meet another guy who could become your friend – Jae, and some enemies from high school too.
The girls are hot and there’s many of them, making it hard to determine which one of them will be just a side character, and which one is going to be a love interest. Either way, you are met with an edgy nympho June who wastes little time to get both of you naked and ready for the next step – hot dorm sex. Other girls are more coy and modest, while there are some really stuck-up characters like Alyssa, a social media personality and model who happens to have an online feud with another girl, the reason for which still remains unanswered.
You will also meet many other characters such as stunning Athena, Jordan and Leslie, and have the ability to go on dates and hang out with them. However, as I’ve previously mentioned, I feel like the plot doesn’t revolve around anything specific, but you are just following events that happen in MC’s life. You do get some choices, but there aren’t many of them. At this point,I feel like the plot is very linear, and the characters don’t have much depth in them, although the MC is a quite likeable one, personally.
Also, I think the pacing feels a bit rushed; I would have enjoyed getting to know the characters better, even if it meant some playful banter. The writing is okay, but the rapid progression after just one or two interactions makes it feel a bit superficial – also, I feel like the sex scenes are a bit rushed, and bvery short
Additionally, it would be better to reduce the frequency of time skips, as it seems like we’re leaping from one scene to another too quickly. Lastly, including more college-related content, like additional classes and everyday activities, would be a nice addition.
Graphic
Visually, Westward Academy is gorgeous to look at, with stunning models and beautiful animations. There are some mini games that you can play, and a replay scene gallery with each of the girls.
Personally, I feel like the visual aspect is the best aspect of this game. I particularly liked the design of Paige – a gorgeous girl you train with. Also, the male characters in this game, the MC being one of them, look better than in the rest of the adult VNs where all the focus is on the women you meet.
Gameplay
There’s no free roam, but there are some easy mini games which you can disable. I feel like the writing is fine, but the story gets a bit boring at some points, which is why I decided to skip some of the text.
The sex scenes are good, but very short and lack creativity. On the good side, nothing is forced and there’s (still) no depictions of NTR or any kind of sharing.
The music is decent and light, but I missed some sex sounds while playing.

Although it’s a promising game, Westward Academy needs more choices and give the players more chances to get to know other characters better. On the other hand, renders and animations are beautiful, and you can see that the dev put a lot of effort into the overall creation of the game.
