In Superhuman, you play as a character who is a mutant of sorts and discovers the secret powers of his new form.
This story is a freaky, gothic visual novel with a thrilling plot.
See what happens when you get transformed into a superhuman.
In this compelling story, one day you wake up and discover you have some pretty freaky superpowers. It occurs as a result of you being given a pill containing crushed up pieces of monsters! Grrr!
No, but really. This story is very atypical for classic porn games, where all that happens in the game eventually leads to sex and all things related. Here, of course, you still have all of that, but you are not deliberately forced to do that. You have many options and meet many different characters.
As for your abilities and powers, they’re pretty gnarly. I mean, you can grow extra limbs, change into another person, and even grow tentacles. Yes, you can do some pretty strange sexual stuff with them if that bothers you. You can even shapeshift into a woman and explore all the possibilities with that new body.
As for the main story, it features the superhuman MC and his arrival at college. Here, you can follow the development of his super powers, go to different locations, and interact with your friends and other college students. You are given so many options so that the gameplay is really interesting.
The MC has, let’s say, a dual personality. He is both your typical 18-year-old who wants to casually sleep around with a bunch of hot college chicks, but also a hot-headed, dark persona with deep secrets to unravel.
The overall scenery is kind of gothic and dark, but the dialogue and the storyline are very well-written; it is detailed and intricate, and you really don’t get bored. There’s always something new and interesting to happen. The story is really something else; it is mysterious and kind of dark, but it also features some emotional moments and good inner monologues. Besides this main plot and sexy stuff, you also get to fight different characters and strange monsters who you are sort of related to. You get to choose the line of attack.
To be honest, I was pretty concerned about the visuals when I started the game. I like the overall artistic style, but I wasn’t really sure how to react. This is a 2DCG game with an overall dark setting and gothic characters. There are lots of women with really huge boobs, and some freaky sex going on (you have tentacles, come on…), so you can maybe imagine what I am talking about. After playing the demo, I actually think it fits well with the story and that this kind of style makes the game very original and distinctive.
You get a lot of options. That’s an intriguing development because the story becomes less linear. You can explore many different sections of the story: hang out with friends, discover what you can (and cannot) do when it comes to your body and superpowers, and you get to discover secrets about those mysterious monsters and the girl who gave you the pill, Ella.
The game has background music and audiovisual effects.
I really like the overall setting and the story, it’s quite unique, but the complete game changer are the numerous options you get while you play. While you can play this main plot and follow your character to college, you can also choose to go train your powers, meet up with your friends, or sleep with random girls. The battle moments are pretty hyped, and some choices you make can eventually be fatal, so you can discover, through trial and error, what works and what doesn’t. As for the tags, in this game you can explore many kinks, including the already mentioned tentacle sex, but other planned tags (which are all optional) are NTR, futanari, and trap.
I highly recommend you play this game. If you generally like fantasy/gothic plots and art, you will definitely like it. However, if you normally aren’t a fan of this kind of setting and want to try out something new, this could be a good start.
I’m really looking forward to playing more, WeirdWorld; keep up the good work!
- A compelling and well-written story.
- Unique plot and setting.
- Really developed.
- Many options that can change the story.
- I though the art would be the reason, but I actually like it so I can’t list anything negative.
