The world has changed. It is now full of magic and monsters.
After your memory loss, you are trained by an old man who gives you the knowledge and skills to become a hitcher, a man whose goal is to rid the world of monsters.
Story
Since this is currently only the demo version, there is not much content, but from what I’ve gathered, it’s going to be a fantasy-themed game set in a fictional world.
You play as a middle-aged man with memory loss. You are now a skilled fighter and belong to a class of people named Hitchers, but your past was different. The story happens both in the present and in the past, with retrospective elements that show how you have become the Hitcher. I think that the writing is the first thing that needs major improvements. Not only is it full of grammatical errors and punctuation mistakes, but the tone also doesn’t fit the theme. Maybe the world-building is well designed, but the final product wasn’t the best.
Anyhow, the mystery of what happened to the MC is what will drive this story forward. We can find out that the MC has a wife and a daughter somewhere, and he is able to communicate with them through meditation. His mission is to find them, and he pairs up with a cute ginger on his journey.
Other than this, there is not much to write about. You get about 20 minutes of gameplay.
Graphic
The overall visual quality of this game is okay, but nothing special. The characters are pretty basic, but some look really weird. At this point, you can meet a green fairy, who didn’t really spark my attention; a ginger loli character with cute freckles and small boobs; the old man, who looks as if he had been frowning all his life; and the members of your family, who are, in my opinion, the best-looking characters.
There are some monsters that appear, but they look pretty generic, like most of the monster creatures in this game. There are no animations, which I don’t really appreciate, but since this is only a demo, I believe there will be some in the future.
Gameplay
The gameplay is not really engaging. There are no choices or options, and the story is linear. There is some music, but it doesn’t really fit the story at all. It starts off with some light, playful music when the fairy appears, but that is pretty much the only time that the music fits the narrative. I think that the developer should work on this and add animations, of course.
Curley’s comments.
Meh, Curley’s not impressed. The story has potential, but it was ruined by rushed writing and grammar mistakes. In my opinion, the language should be adapted to the overall fantasy tone of the story. There are no animations, and the music is sometimes not fitting. The renders look fine, but I bet that they could be improved. Oh, and, there is no sex at all.
Some tags: Monster Girl, Loli, Exhibitionism, Monster, small tits.
Planned: Incest, Vaginal Sex, Anal, Male Domination, Corruption, Milf, Bdsm, Watersports (optional), MFF
Overall, I believe this could be a good game, but not at this point. There are many aspects that should be improved, and that makes this game really average. I like the world-building, though, and the idea of Hitchers seems interesting to me, but I just don’t know how the development will proceed from here. All in all, good luck, Dev!
Pros
- Interesting world-building.
Cons
- The music is not fitting.
- The writing should be improved.
- No animations.
