Mists of Magic – Green Hat Productions

Curley welcomes the first release from Green Hat Productions, called Mists of Magic.

Since this is only the demo version, you don’t get a lot of information and you are yet to discover what’s in store.

It seems like this is not your average coming-of-age story, so grab your popcorn, and tissues, in case you make a mess playing this game.

Story

This visual novel starts with a shower scene that shows a good-looking heart-throb, the MC. Even in the beginning, the developers show you that girls are definitely interested in you and your, well, big cock that is often on display. The story begins on your last weekend before going to college. You still have some work to do, and you are accompanied by your friend and work-buddy, Tales, who is secretly wishing to get her hands on you. She is sweet and kind of shy, but she doesn’t close her eyes when you start jerking off in front of her. Yes, you read that right.

You two brush it off, but it seems like Tales can’t really forget about it that easily. However, Tales is not the only woman who recognised your raw, sexual power. In the demo, you also get to meet Tales’ sister, Tessa and the owner of a cafe where you work, a sexy MILF, Beth, who doesn’t waste time throwing herself onto you.

Here, however, you get to choose what you want to do. You can refuse to bang her, and you can choose to continue, but I imagine you are horny, so I suggest you pick the latter. There is one more major sex scene awaiting you towards the end of the demo. You guessed it right – it involves Taylor, who proves not to be as shy as we imagined.

Among the already mentioned female characters, there are a few more that you encounter in the game, but I leave it to you to explore the rest. I only want to spark your imagination and get you interested in the game, not reveal everything.

Graphic

The overall quality of visuals is good, the camera angles and zoom ins/outs make it interesting for the players. The attractiveness and diversity of female characters make up for the seemingly flat story. As it was previously mentioned, the name of the game and what the developers described isn’t clearly shown in the demo.

Gameplay

There are numerous options you can choose from in the demo regarding mostly sex scenes and where you want to take the conversation you have with other characters. All characters are pre-defined, and I am not sure if there will be options to change that. There still isn’t a voiceover and there are no sound-effects which would help to improve the gameplay. There is some casual background music that resembles the soundtrack of some college-themed movie.

Curley’s comments

Potential kinks and fetishes that are listed below the ‘planned tags’ are: sex toys, cream pie, exhibitionism, group sex, foot job, etc. However, some of these are optional and both NTR and incest will be excluded.

One possibly deeper relationship to explore is the one with Tales, but we don’t know what will happen when MC leaves for college. The women that appear to be living with MC and his connection to them is not revealed in the demo, but it may suggest a possible harem theme.

The dialogues are humorous and lighthearted, so you don’t have to worry about some dark themes or plot twists. That is, at least in the demo.

I am intrigued by where they will take the story because the developers mentioned some things that didn’t appear in the demo. At least for now, the name of the game is kind of misleading. There is definitely no magic or mistiness in the demo, but I guess that’s the hook. You just have to keep playing to see what will happen next.

Let me just say that this initial release won’t leave you high and dry.
