After the rework of the game, you get an updated text and renders.
Play as a young guy who is ready to start living again after a period of depression.
Meet different people and navigate his love life and his professional life.
Story
You play as a young, handsome guy determined to reclaim your life after battling a prolonged period of depression. Despite coming from a good family, the passing of your mother marked the onset of a downward spiral. Your father found solace in Thea, a new woman in his life, and her daughter Nisse joined your household. You welcomed Thea as a mother figure, being thankful for her presence, but another wave of sadness struck when your long-term girlfriend, Julia, parted ways with you.
Now, you stand as a grown, single individual, eager to forge ahead. Nisse and Thea continue to reside with you, and you assume the role of the head of the household, as your father’s work keeps him away often. In contrast to many stories where female characters gravitate towards the protagonist, you and Nisse don’t quite get along.
However, this narrative leaves me with mixed feelings. Conversations tend to drag on at times, and there are grammar and punctuation errors. There are many love interests (maybe too many), along with palpable tension between Nisse, Thea, and yourself, though it seems we’ll have to wait for more intimate scenes to unfold. The surplus of new female characters introduced in each chapter appears to be overwhelming, potentially complicating the story if the developer doesn’t manage the branching paths effectively.
Furthermore, the limited choices make it feel more like a kinetic novel, posing a slight challenge for immersion in the story.
Graphic
The renders and animations in the game, on the other hand, leave me in awe. The clarity of the visuals is truly remarkable, with fluid and exceptionally beautiful animations. The female characters, for the most part, are striking in their appearance, featuring a remarkable level of detail in their bodies and skin textures. However, it’s worth noting that I’ve come across numerous glitches and clips, which detract from the experience.
One of the central love interests, your coworker Cacau, is the character featured in the majority of the sex scenes. Unfortunately, I personally don’t find her attractive, which is a drawback for me. Additionally, the character Jade’s appearance falls considerably short of expectations and stands as one of the most unattractive characters I’ve encountered in any adult game I’ve played. This is surprising because most other characters exhibit an exceptional visual appeal, with a diverse range of body shapes, ages, hair colors, styles, and more.
Nevertheless, despite these minor shortcomings, I must say that the game’s visual presentation is stunning.
Gameplay
This game boasts an abundance of content, and the recent rework has notably changed its immersive qualities and visual appeal for the better. However, certain concerns persist, particularly regarding the lack of choices and their potential impact on the narrative. It’s also worth mentioning that the developer has implemented persistent variables with the love interests, but their utilization is inconsistent. For instance, in one scene, the MC speculates that Cacau is interested in a friends-with-benefits arrangement. However, even if you decline, the outcome remains unchanged.
The inclusion of music and sound effects, while nice, doesn’t introduce anything particularly innovative to the gaming experience. On a more positive note, the presence of a replay scenes gallery is a valuable addition that enhances the overall gameplay.
Curley’s comments
Even though the game looks great visually, I am hoping that the dev provides more choices which will be impactful. The text should also be revisited and proofread. If the developer decides to improve all these things, I may come back to the game. It could be promising and very good.
