Story
This is the initial release from BUTTANDHONOR. It’s a VN where the main protagonist is a female; her name is Ellie, and she is a rookie police officer fresh out of college. Becoming a police officer has always been her dream, and she is eager to make it in the business.
She works alongside her partner, Abby, who is kind of similar in looks to her and likes to prank her. Ellie is a little bit timid and shy, but you can change that by making some more confident choices and influencing the story in that way.
As for the writing and the story, I think the writer did a good job with the conversations, which seem realistic; I think the characters are consistent; but sometimes it gets a little boring. There is not much of a story, really. You can explore different relationships with the people in your department and bond with Abby and your colleagues, but you are not yet sure who has truly good intentions.
You have to be careful and pick your choices wisely; otherwise, you may compromise your job and the years you’ve spent learning and educating yourself.
The sex scenes are not rushed; there aren’t many, so don’t expect to get off soon into playing.
All in all, this visual novel has potential, but it lacks character development.

Honestly, sometimes the visuals looked really weird. I don’t really like the style. Sure, the characters probably look more realistic than in other games, but I think they could’ve done a better job making the main character and her partner. In the beginning, you can choose whether you want her to be hairy or shaven, and that is pretty much it when it comes to customizing your character.
Gameplay
As I’ve said, you do get some options; they determine the way in which the conversations with other characters go. You can choose to be timid and more quiet and stay out of people’s way, or you can take the initiative and be more confident. I always chose the latter because I would like Ellie to be more harsh.

This game has potential, but it is not so polished, and I think there’s room for improvement. I think the story could be improved, even though the dialogue is realistic. I would like for the characters to look more sexy. There are no animations, background music, or sound effects, and I think that would definitely improve the game. Judging by the tags, there isn’t going to be a lot of sex or lewdness, so maybe you should skip it if that’s what you’re looking for in a game.
