Delve into the world of ancient prophecies, demons, and secret knowledge.
You are a normal guy who steers clear of danger and action.
Suddenly, you are thrusted into the discovery of a centuries-long mystery…
This game has a unique plot with an intense build-up and an overall dark setting. It’s not exactly a porn game because it features a minimal number of sex scenes, usually some petting and/or nudity. However, the story is fluid, with interesting twists and generally very high-quality writing. The grammar and the punctuation are on point, and the characters are equally developed.
You play as a young guy who doesn’t stand out much. You were brought up by the church and an old nun who mysteriously went missing one night. While you were writing your thesis in the library, you got a call from an unknown number telling you that the person to whom you owe all your education and upbringing might be in danger. Next thing you know, you find yourself in the middle of a crime scene, and the Cardinal is asking you to continue very important research.
What you find out is that the nun who was taking care of you, Sister Bernardette, hoped that you would solve an ancient mystery. With the help of Detective Bernardette, you become a crusader in the fight against evil and darkness.
The biggest element of the game is the warrior nuns dressed in latex suits. Forged into champions against the encroaching shadows, their strength emanates from the enigmatic Lady, a deity poised between the realms of darkness and light. This is where the story unfolds. It starts off as a slow-burn fantasy series but soon turns into a dark thriller-like blockbuster. The reason why I am describing it in terms of motion pictures is because it resembles that more than it resembles a game. You have a couple of choices, but nothing major.
It is a very captivating story that is worth your while, but don’t hope for a lot of sexy moments.
The visual aspect of this game isn’t its best quality, but the animations are amazing, and I like the overall dark, gorey setting.
Out of all the female characters, I believe that Sadie and Carina are the best ones. The other characters look disproportionate, and the quality of the renders heavily depends on the character’s position and facial expressions. In short, sometimes they look really good, and other times they just look odd.
The content of this game is what makes it interesting—a blend of blood, mystery, and gripping gore that keeps you hooked from the start. The writing is really good, and when you pair it all up with ambient music, you get a masterpiece.
The lack of choices didn’t bother me, as I was genuinely interested in the story and how the main twist would play out. As I’ve previously noted, intimate scenes are minimal, so don’t expect a lot of fake-worthy moments.
Some game stats will also be shown on screen at time, so it makes it easy to follow.
