Strangers on Paper is a VN that combines a compelling story with beautiful art.

Story
The story begins with a short insight into the MC’s current life. He is struggling with his career as a writer and is currently staying at his best friend Tony’s apartment. At the same time, he decides to help Tony at his bar and meets interesting people. This is a very interesting and well-written story with realistic dialogue and curious characters, so if you haven’t already played the game, make sure you stop reading here because I wouldn’t want to be the one who spoiled the game for you (it’s really, really good!).
What was supposed to be a regular working night turned out to be a night of important decisions. A former popular girl from high school, Amy, shows up, but so does Tony’s mysterious sister, Becca, whom the MC has been crushing on for the majority of his life. This game is choice-driven, and Becca and Amy become the two love interests of the MC. You can choose who you want to go with that night: help Becca with her secretive late-night drive, or stay with Amy and participate in her wild to-do list. So, what’s that about?
Both paths can lead you to some romantic scenes and provide you with more information about each woman. It seems like Becca and Amy are somehow connected, but this is left for future episodes.
As for the characters, they are very realistic and believeable. The dialogue flows smoothly, which makes the playability of this game very easy to follow. Both Becca’s and Amy’s characters are very intriguing and kind of contrasting: Becca has a darker past, there are secrets that surround her, and she is more serious and dark, while Amy seems nice and bubbly but also unexperienced and maybe a little shy. She is currently engaged but is trying to complete a series of challenges her sister dared her to do before her wedding.
Will you go with Amy and participate in her drunk-infused challenges, or will you go on a secretive ride with Becca?
Graphic
Strangers on Paper has some beautiful renders but no animations. Usually I would say that is kind of a deal-breaker for me, but not in this one. The transitions from one render to the next are smooth, the lighting is amazing and sets the tone of the scene, and the models are really nice and unique. All of this makes this game visually very attractive, with a lot of attention to detail.
Gameplay
The game has a unique flow because of the great writing and beautiful artwork; there are choices that determine how the rest of the episode plays out, and it was all done very smoothly. I didn’t see any mistakes or confusing parts. The music and the sound effects are really good, and it has almost a movie quality to it. There are no sex scenes yet, although some lesbian kissing and foreplay were shown.
Curley’s comments
If I had to describe this game in one word, it would be smooth. Great renders, high-quality artwork, and top-notch writing. The story is compelling, the dialogue is realistic, and it’s not rushed.
