Sullied Love is the first release from Sleepy Devs.
As the developers mentioned, the game will involve “heavy NTR” which will not be avoidable, so if you don’t like this kind of games, maybe you should skip it.
All in all, the short demo doesn’t reveal much; you meet three main characters, a husband and wife, and wife’s ex-lover who unexpectedly knocks on their door.
Story
Developers say this game is a slow-burn, kinetic VN with corruption and, if I may add, not-so-palpable sexual tension. I’m guessing that the real tension and plot twists happen after the demo.
The wife seems sweet and loving, but it looks like her past might have been different. Upon the arrival of her ex-lover, she is surprised but lets him stay at their home. It is left to be see how this unexpected guest will interfere with their marriage and sexual lives. So, what can we see in the demo?
The story is realistically written, and the language seems appropriate for a married couple who is currently facing some problems in the bedroom, since the husband’s sexual endurance isn’t that long and he wonders if he would be able to satisfy his wife. My prediction is that the central plot will revolve around this problem and that the ex-lover will probably try to win the woman back through romance and sex. Still, the story is really slow, and it didn’t interest me that much. The male character; the husband is your regular cuck, although the developers mention that he is not dumb, and will not be in the background the whole time.
Graphic
The renders seem to be of high-quality, but there are no animations, only a short sex scene that is interrupted by the knock on the door. The characters look okay, but that’s it. Personally, the husband looks like a silly boy compared to his rather hot wife. The ex-lover, on the other hand, resembles a body-builder and is definitely meant to look better than the husband. The environments look polished, and I like how they paid attention to interior design and details.
Gameplay
Before starting the game, and after you’ve entered the names for the characters, you can choose between a female POV, a male POV, or both POVs. This intrigued me when I was starting but after I had explored all three options, it turned out that not much changed. You only get more internal monologues if you click on single POV, and you get all dialogues and monologues if you click on both POVs. The renders remain the same, so I am not sure where the developer plans to take this option.
Curley’s comments
In general, the story didn’t interest me that much. It’s not up my alley and I would like it to be more developed. In this phase, I don’t really see where they will take the story. They already have other episodes planned so it’s up to the players to decide if this interested them enough to keep playing.
Pros
- High-quality renders.
Cons
- Non-avoidable NTR which may cause less downloads and players.
- Boring story (at least in the demo).
